    Ralph Miley

    Ralph Miley is the president of the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS), and is also the publisher at New Creation Comics.  Ralph and CCAS have been tabling at San Diego Comic-Con for over two decades spreading the love of Christ through their various panels and activites as well as launching the longest running Christian comic book convention, Alpha Omega Con, since 2014.  New Creation Comics publishes comic books teaching Biblical values and principles through the world of superheroes.

    James Q. Nguyen

    James is an independent comic book creator from Syracuse, NY who has launched his own all-ages superhero comic book called Alpha Red which he describes as Peter Parker as Captain America on a James Bond style adventure. James felt the stirring of the Holy Spirit after some searching in late 1999 and really growing in the desire to know Him more after he got married in 2000. He accepted Christ in 2002 and began using his artistic talents for the Lord in 2013 when he revised his comic book, Alpha Red, from a generic superhero comic book into a gospel infused graphic novel. His mission is to create fun, action-packed, faith-based stories for comic fans looking for good, Christ-honoring entertainment.

    Howard Chang

    Howard "Quiggly" Chang is a legendary toy designer and artist renowned for his work with Varner Studios. He made a massive impact in the 1990s as a core concept artist and sculptor for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Over a decade ago God gave him a dream about a new collectible action figure toy line of AI powered robots with the personality traits of Biblical heroes and villains.  That toy line launched a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2025 called Ancientz.

  • Sergio Cariello

    Sergio Cariello

    Sergio Cariello was born in Brazil in 1964 and started drawing as soon as he could hold a pencil.    At the age of 5 he knew he wanted to be a cartoonist and told his parents.  In 1982 he found an issue of Batman #350 which had an ad for the Joe Kubert School of Art and knew immediately that he wanted to go to school there.  In 1986 while working for the Word of Life Bible Institute he had a personal interview with Joe Kubert over the phone and was accepted to attend his school.  During his schooling and afterwards Sergio built an impressive resume of work at both Marvel and DC Comics.  Sergio later returned to the Joe Kubert School as an instructor and took great joy as he saw his students "break into the business."  Aside from his work in mainstream comics Sergio is also the illustrator of the Action Bible which was the #1 bestselling Christian book of 2025, and has sold over 4 million copies.

  • Scott McDowell

    Scott McDowell

    Scott "Scottie" McDowell is the son of Sean McDowell, professor apologetics at BIOLA University, and the grandson of Josh McDowell.  Scottie McDowell is a senior at Biola University, where he plays collegiate basketball. As a captain of the basketball team, he has developed a strong passion for leadership and sharing his faith. In addition to his role as a student-athlete, Scottie is a Youth Pastor at SeaCoast Grace Church, where he works closely with students and helps them answer some of the biggest questions facing the next generation.  And if that wasn't enough to keep him busy Scottie also works for one of the most legendary comic artists of all time, Rob Liefeld, who created Deadpool.
